How a small private group differs
- No strangers: the group is only your family and friends.
- No shopping stops: no commission pressure, so no detours.
- Your schedule: start when you want, stay as long as you want.
- Live adjustments: if the weather turns, we reorder the sights.
- Lower per-person cost than a group of two: the vehicle and guide are shared across more people.
The sweet spot on group size
From a cost perspective, four guests (one seven-seat vehicle plus one guide) is the best value; six to eight can use a business van and bring the per-person cost down further. More guests means lower cost per head but slightly less flexibility.
Who this suits
- A family travelling with elderly parents and children
- A few friends wanting a route of their own
- A company team incentive trip
- Several families pooling together, each with their own children
Our advice
- With only two guests, consider pooling with friends to reach four — the per-person cost drops noticeably.
- Align everyone on 'what time do we start each day' before departure; it is the single most common friction point.
- With elderly parents, stretch the days and reduce daily sights. Fewer sights, better trip.
