China Custom Tours is a travel company focused on private, tailor-made journeys inside mainland China, mainly for travellers from Hong Kong and Taiwan. We do not sell fixed coach tours — every itinerary is rebuilt around your dates, group size and ideas.

Why we focus on Hong Kong and Taiwan guests
Hosting guests from Hong Kong and Taiwan is different from hosting European or American guests: communication in Cantonese or traditional Chinese, hotels that are licensed to accept these guests, food that suits the palate, and travellers who already know something about the mainland. These details are what we pay attention to.
How we work
- No strangers: the vehicle and group are yours alone.
- No shopping: we take no commissions, so your guide has no reason to detour.
- Any arrival city: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Xining and Urumqi all work.
- City-to-city handovers: transfers, guides and hotels lined up in advance.
- Everything inside China: flights, rail, hotels, tickets and permits handled together.
Guides and vehicles
Licensed guides and dedicated drivers, kept separate — safer on long drives and it means your guide arrives fresh to explain what you are seeing. Cantonese-speaking guide for Hong Kong guests, Mandarin for Taiwan guests. Vehicles are matched to group size: sedan for two, seven-seat MPV for four, van or minibus beyond that.
How we price
All-in quotations: vehicle, driver, guide, accommodation, listed admission tickets, fuel and tolls are included. International flights, domestic transport, meals and personal spending are not. We give a specific number rather than a vague 'from' price.
